I know where Ill be on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 3:00 pm - Glued to my TV watching Puppy Bowl IX on Animal Planet.

The most adorable sports event of the year features shelter puppies from all over the country.  With tail wagging touchdowns, puppy penalties and sleepy time outs, this years event promises cute close-ups at the first ever water bowl cam.

Adoptions at shelters increase substantially following the annual event. And why wouldnt they? Check out the starting line up .
