I use heavy duty plastic zip ties to put plastic crates together. when dogs fight the crate, the screws that come with many such crates can be loosened then fall out, while zip ties stay secure. now, close every single hole all the way around, don’t skip any.. To make an escape proof crate though, all you need are a wire crate, zip ties and two metal clips (like the ones on the end of the leash). zip tie all the way around at all the places where the two panels meet, and across the bottom where the pan slides out..
